Udhampur, Sept 23 (JKNS): Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Wednesday visited the strategically vital Northern Command theatre and reviewed the prevailing operational environment and preparedness of the forces.
The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, PVSM, AVSM as per news agency JKNS, visited the strategically vital Northern Command theatre to review prevailing operational environment and preparedness.
During the visit, the Chief of Air Staff was briefed by Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command at Headquarter Northern Command on key operational dynamics and the ongoing inter service synergy initiatives for the effective execution of multi domain operations.
Expressing full confidence in the operational capabilities of the forces, the Chief of the Air Staff highlighted that the exemplary synergy and jointness displayed between Western Air Command and Northern Command, at each echelon, ranging from strategic to tactical level, serves as a beacon for future operations.
