Anantnag, Sept 23 (JKNS): A 20-year-old youth from Doda district died after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident in the Daksum area of Tehsil Larnoo, Anantnag.
According to the officials as per news agency JKNS, the accident occurred in the Daksum area, following which the injured youth was shifted to PHC Larnoo for immediate medical treatment. Due to the critical nature of his injuries, he was subsequently referred to GMC Anantnag, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Danish Ahmad (20), son of Mohd Rafiq, a resident of Batogra Gugara, Doda district.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident and the death. (JKNS)
