Srinagar, Aug 29 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday extended greetings to all sportspersons and sports enthusiasts on the occasion of National Sports Day.
In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Office of the J&K Lieutenant Governor said, “Greetings to all sportspersons & sports enthusiasts on National Sports Day. Tributes to Hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand Ji on his Jayanti.”
The Lieutenant Governor described Major Dhyan Chand as an inspiration personified who brought immense pride to the nation, adding that his exemplary sportsmanship and achievements continue to inspire generations.
