Jammu, Aug 25 (JKNS): Senior political leader, former Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad, has extended his heartfelt greetings and felicitations to the people of the country, particularly the people of Jammu and Kashmir, on the auspicious and blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
In his message, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ reminds us of the great and blessed day when Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came into this world and brought a message of mercy, guidance and blessings for the entire humanity.
He said that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ serve as a guiding light for all humanity. The Prophet ﷺ taught mankind the values of peace, love, justice, tolerance, brotherhood, equality and service to humanity. Truthfulness, honesty, good character and respect for the rights of others hold a central place in his teachings.
Ghulam Nabi Azad said that at a time when society is facing various challenges and difficulties, we should draw guidance from the Seerat-e-Tayyiba ﷺ and promote love, brotherhood, tolerance and mutual respect among people. He emphasized that the true message of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ is not limited to celebration alone, but lies in incorporating the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ into our practical lives.
He further said that the Holy Prophet ﷺ taught the entire humanity the values of peace, justice and kindness towards others. If we shape our lives in accordance with the Seerat of the Prophet ﷺ, hatred, prejudice and divisions can be replaced with love, tolerance and brotherhood in society.
The former Chief Minister appealed to the people of the country, particularly the people of Jammu and Kashmir, to pledge on this blessed occasion to promote unity, peace and brotherhood and to make helping the needy, poor and weaker sections of society an integral part of their lives.
Ghulam Nabi Azad prayed to Almighty Allah to grant all Muslims the strength and guidance to follow the blessed Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, strengthen their love for the Prophet ﷺ and lead the country and the nation towards peace, prosperity, development and unity.
He also prayed that this blessed occasion becomes a source of peace, love and blessings for the entire humanity and that prosperity, brotherhood and communal harmony flourish across Jammu and Kashmir and the country.
Extending his heartfelt greetings to all citizens on Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ brings a message of peace, love, humanity and good character for all of us. (JKNS)
