Srinagar, August 25: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, Science & Technology and ARI & Trainings, Satish Sharma, has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), marking the blessed birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his message, the Minister said that Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) is a sacred occasion that reminds humanity of the timeless message and noble teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW), centred on compassion, peace, justice, kindness, brotherhood and selfless service to humanity.
Satish Sharma said that the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provide enduring guidance for building a society founded on mutual respect, harmony, tolerance and concern for the welfare of others. He expressed hope that the occasion would inspire people to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and work collectively for peace, prosperity and the well-being of society.
“On this blessed occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to the noble values of compassion, truth, patience, forgiveness and service to humanity taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and strive to incorporate these values in our everyday lives,” the Minister said.
He emphasised that the true spirit of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) lies in extending kindness to others, helping the needy and underprivileged, promoting social harmony and working for the welfare of all sections of society.
The Minister also prayed for peace, progress, prosperity and well-being of all citizens, and particularly prayed for continued peace, development and happiness in Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed hope that the sacred occasion would strengthen the spirit of unity, brotherhood and mutual understanding among the people and inspire everyone to contribute towards building a peaceful, compassionate and prosperous society.
