New Delhi, Aug 17 (JKNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday announced a major reshuffle of its national organisation, with party National President Nitin Nabin appointing new National Office-Bearers and assigning several key organisational responsibilities with immediate effect.
As per a press release issued by the BJP Central Office and accessed by news agency JKNS, 13 leaders have been appointed National Vice Presidents, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda, D. Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Bharti Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, M. Nagaraja, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar.
B.L. Santhosh has been appointed National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation).
The party has also appointed Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia as National General Secretaries.
Among the National Secretaries appointed are Pradip Varma, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Kavita Patidar, K. Surendran, Bhola Singh, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M. Venkateshan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deo Barman, Rohan Gupta and Jal Prakash.
Piyush Goyal has been appointed National Treasurer, while Rajesh Mangal has been named National Joint Treasurer.
The BJP has also assigned several other organisational responsibilities. Tarun Chugh has been appointed Central Office In-charge, while Mahendra Pandey has been named Central Office Secretary.
Sambit Patra has been appointed North-East Coordinator and Rajiv Babbar North-East Joint Coordinator. Vishnu Datt Sharma has been assigned as All Cells Coordinator, with Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy as Joint Coordinators.
The party also announced new presidents for its various Morchas. Dr Hemang Joshi will head the Yuva Morcha, Roop Kumari Choudhary the Mahila Morcha, Amarpal Maurya the OBC Morcha, Bansilal Gurjar the Kisan Morcha, Shivesh Kumar Ram the SC Morcha, Dr Mannalal Rawat the ST Morcha and Kunwar Basit Ali the Minority Morcha.
Anil Baluni has been appointed Media Convenor, with Ashish Usha Agrawal, Pradeep Bhandari and Siddharth Yadav as Media Co-Convenors.
Deepak Mhaskey has been appointed Social Media Convenor, while Priti Gandhi and Shivanand Dwivedi have been named Social Media Co-Convenors.
The BJP said the appointments, approved by National President Nitin Nabin, will come into effect forthwith. (JKNS)
