Srinagar, Aug 7 (JKNS): Police in Qamarwari area of Srinagar has apprehended a group of gamblers during a raid at PC Depot Bund in Srinagar, resulting in the arrest of seven persons, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that police recovered ₹2,36,540 in cash, 10 mobile phones and five packs of playing cards from the possession of the arrested persons.
A case has been registered under relevant provisions of law, and further investigation has been initiated, officials said. (JKNS)
