Srinagar, Aug 3 (JKNS): Traffic movement on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been suspended from both ends following heavy rainfall that rendered the road highly slippery and unsafe near the Dawal slide close to Dawal Bridge in Samroli area of Udhampur district, officials said on Monday evening.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the affected stretch has narrowed into a single carriageway due to slush, mud and continuous rainfall, posing a serious risk to commuters.
