Srinagar, July 23 (JKNS): An unidentified person allegedly jumped into the River Jhelum in the Lasjan area of Srinagar on Thursday, triggering a rescue operation by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
Reports reaching news agency JKNS stated that, soon after receiving information about the incident, SDRF personnel rushed to the spot and launched a search and rescue operation in an attempt to trace the individual.
The identity of the person was not immediately known, while efforts were underway to locate the individual.
