CRPF Empowers Kashmiri Youth With Free Computer Training Under Civic Action Programme

Srinagar, July 23 (JKNS): In a significant initiative aimed at promoting digital literacy and enhancing employment prospects among economically weaker sections, the 132 Battalion CRPF organised a month-long Basic Computer Training Course for unemployed youths and orphans under the Civic Action Programme in the Kashmir Valley.

132Bn CRPF Sanatnagar, Srinagar under the aegis of Srinagar Sector organized One month Basic Computer Course/training for 15 Nos unemployed Youths/Orphans from economically weaker families wef 17/06/2026 to 23/07/2026 under Human Resource Development  under Civic Action Programme in J&K Region aimed to equip them with the digital literacy and technical skills required to navigate modern technology and securing employment.

The said training was organized in collaboration with Kashsoft Computers, 2nd Floor Matto Complex, Red Cross Road, Maisuma, Srinagar.

The training programme which commenced on 17/06/2026 concluded on 23/07/2026 and was formally closed in a function by Shri W. R. Josuah, Commandant-132Bn CRPF in the presence of Officers and men of 132 Bn CRPF,  General Secretary of J&K Yateem Trust, Director and Staff of Kashsoft Computers Srinagar,  Trainees and inhabitants of Maisuma. Srinagar. Total 15 Nos Youths/Orphans including 09 Girls from economically weaker families benefited from the said training. Course completion Certificate were also issued to all trainees which will support job applications and securing employment.

Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Untoo, General Secretary of J&K Yateem Trust and Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kanth, Director of Kashsoft Computers expressed gratitude to 132 Bn CRPF for organizing the Computer course/ training under Civic Action Programme. (JKNS)
