Srinagar, July 18 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday expressed profound grief over the demise of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh, former Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of POWERGRID, describing him as a visionary leader and an outstanding institution builder whose contribution to India’s power sector will be remembered for generations.
LG Sinha in a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, said he was deeply saddened by Dr. Singh’s passing and noted that his leadership played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s power transmission network and significantly contributing to the nation’s infrastructure development.
“A visionary leader and an outstanding institution builder, Dr. Singh played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s power transmission network and making a lasting contribution to the nation’s infrastructure development,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
Extending his heartfelt condolences, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family, friends, and admirers of the late Dr. Singh.
