Budgam, July 18 (JKNS): A man lost his life after the tractor he was driving overturned in the Batapora area of Wathora in Chadoora tehsil of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the tractor turned turtle while being driven by the victim, leaving him critically injured.
He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad, son of Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Hanjigund, Chadoora.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated legal proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. (JKNS)
