Baramulla, July 18 (JKNS): Arsalan Bashir, a resident of Chichilora village in the Magam area of Kunzer, Baramulla district, has successfully qualified the NEET 2026 examination by securing an impressive 583 marks.
His remarkable achievement has brought immense pride and joy to his family, teachers, relatives, and the entire locality. His success stands as a testament to hard work, discipline, consistency, perseverance, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah.
Expressing gratitude after his achievement, Arsalan first thanked his school for laying a strong academic foundation and helping him develop confidence and a clear sense of purpose. He credited his parents and teachers as the biggest contributors to his success.
“Alhamdulillah, my parents and teachers played the most important role in my journey. My teachers helped me build strong concepts, while my parents constantly encouraged me, protected me from unnecessary pressure, and supported me at every stage,” he said.
Speaking about his preparation, Arsalan said that he studied at Aakash Institute during Classes 11 and 12. After that, he dedicated an entire year to self-study and thorough revision. He revealed that last year he narrowly missed admission to a Government Medical College due to a minor mistake while filling the OMR sheet. Instead of giving up, he used that disappointment as motivation to work even harder. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his cousins, who are currently studying in Government Medical Colleges, for their continuous guidance and encouragement throughout his journey.
Sharing his message with NEET aspirants, Arsalan urged students not to treat failure as the end of the road. Instead, he advised them to identify the reason behind their setbacks—whether it is lack of preparation, examination mistakes, or insufficient effort—and work on overcoming those weaknesses with renewed determination.
He emphasized that focus, consistency, and discipline are the keys to success. According to him, his dream of becoming a doctor inspired him to stay dedicated every single day.
“Always work hard, stay focused, remain consistent, and put your trust in Almighty Allah. Allah never lets sincere efforts go to waste,” he said.
Arsalan also appealed to parents to understand their children’s individual abilities and interests instead of forcing them into careers of their own choice. He stressed that every child is unique and should be encouraged to pursue the field in which they genuinely have passion and potential. Expressing concern over the growing mental stress among students, he urged parents to provide emotional and moral support rather than placing unnecessary academic pressure on their children.
Talking about his study routine, Arsalan shared that his mother played a crucial role in keeping him away from unnecessary mobile phone usage. Throughout his preparation, he used only a basic keypad phone, while a tablet was used strictly for educational purposes. He completely stayed away from social media and, for relaxation, used his mother’s phone for only about half an hour once a week.
Known in his locality as a disciplined, well-mannered, and religious young man, Arsalan said that his faith and trust in Almighty Allah gave him strength during every difficult phase of his preparation.
“Work hard, remain consistent, stay focused, and always trust Almighty Allah. Hard work never goes unrewarded, and Allah always blesses sincere efforts with the best results.”
Arsalan Bashir’s inspiring journey serves as a shining example for thousands of students across Jammu and Kashmir, proving that dedication, perseverance, discipline, family support, and faith in Almighty Allah ultimately lead to success. (JKNS)
