Srinagar, July 13 (JKNS): Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma visited Talbehat Military Station to review the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the garrison units, reaffirming the Indian Army’s focus on capability enhancement and force modernisation.

According to the Indian Army, as per news agency JKNS, the Army Commander inspected newly inducted equipment in the Shaktibaan Regiment and also visited the pioneer indigenous Dhanush Gun unit, highlighting the Army’s continued emphasis on strengthening indigenous defence capabilities.

During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma interacted with troops and commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment to duty.

 

He urged the personnel to continue striving for excellence while maintaining the highest standards of operational preparedness and combat readiness.

 

The visit formed part of the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to ensure operational effectiveness and modernisation of its formations. (JKNS)
