Srinagar, July 6 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Minister for School Education and Health Sakina Itoo on Sunday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation of various government welfare schemes, directing officials to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, remove bottlenecks and ensure that the benefits of flagship programmes reach beneficiaries efficiently and without delay.

Minister Itoo as per news agency JKNS, chaired a high-level preparatory meeting with Directors of Planning, Directors of Finance, and senior officers from the School Education, Health, and Social Welfare departments to review the implementation of various government welfare schemes.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of welfare programmes. She directed the concerned officers to work in close coordination, monitor progress regularly, and address bottlenecks to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without delay.

The meeting also reviewed the preparedness of the departments, financial planning, and implementation strategies aimed at improving service delivery and strengthening the overall execution of welfare initiatives across the Union Territory.

Senior officials from the concerned departments participated in the meeting and discussed measures to enhance coordination, transparency, and accountability in the implementation process. (JKNS)
