Jaipur, July 2 (JKNS): Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, on Thursday presented the National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2026 to 17 outstanding digital governance initiatives during the valedictory session of the 29th National Conference on e-Governance (NCeG 2026) held in Jaipur.
The awards recognised excellence across seven categories, honouring innovative and citizen-centric digital governance initiatives that have significantly improved public service delivery across the country.
According to the official statement, 10 Gold Awards, six Silver Awards and one Jury Award were presented for exemplary work in digital governance, innovation, adoption of emerging technologies and efficient public administration.
The awards were presented in the presence of Rajasthan Minister for Information Technology and Communication Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, and Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Government of India, Nivedita Shukla Verma.
The conference highlighted the Centre’s continued focus on strengthening digital governance and promoting technology-driven, transparent and citizen-friendly public services under the Digital India initiative. (JKNS)
