Medical Shop Sealed in Anantnag Over Drug Rule Violations

Anantnag, June 27 (JKNS): Acting against violations of drug regulations, Anantnag Police, in coordination with the Drug Control Authority, on Saturday sealed a medical shop in the Janglatmandi area after a joint inspection uncovered multiple regulatory discrepancies, officials said.

According to the details available with news agency JKNS, a team from Police Post Janglatmandi, along with officials of the Drug Control Authority, conducted a joint inspection of a medical shop owned and operated by Waseem Ahmad Dar S/o Bashir Ahmad Dar R/o Brakpora.

During the inspection, the joint team noticed several discrepancies and violations of the prescribed regulatory norms. In view of the violations detected, the medical shop was sealed on the spot in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. Further legal and departmental action is being initiated by the concerned authorities as per law.

Anantnag Police remains committed to taking firm action against violations affecting public safety and health and will continue to work in close coordination with other enforcement agencies to ensure strict adherence to the law. (JKNS)
