Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, as per news agency JKNS, Itoo said the matter of summer vacations will be discussed by the concerned authorities and a decision will be taken after assessing the prevailing situation.

“We will discuss summer vacations in July,” the minister said when asked about the possibility of announcing a break for schools amid rising temperatures.

She, however, did not specify any timeline for the decision and said the government would take a call after reviewing all relevant factors.

The statement comes amid speculations on summer vacations in educational institutions due to the prevailing weather conditions in parts of Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
