The Government noted that while some employees had registered on the PRS portal, they had not completed the process by filing their property returns, thereby remaining in default of the mandatory requirement.

The notification recalled that vide Circular No. 26-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated December 17, 2025, all Government employees were directed to file their Annual Property Returns for the year 2025 between January 1 and January 31, 2026 through the PRS portal.

“In view of the defaults observed, the timeline for submission of property returns by the concerned employees through online mode on the PRS Portal is hereby extended by a period of seven days from the date of issuance of this notification,” the order reads.

The Government has also advised employees facing OTP-related issues to update their current mobile numbers and email IDs on the CPIS portal. For other technical issues, employees can seek assistance through the dedicated support email, [email protected]. (JKNS)
