Northern Command Concludes Children Summer Adventure Camp 2026 at Alhilal Military Station

Srinagar, Jun 22 (JKNS): The Northern Command of the Indian Army on Monday said that the Children Summer Adventure Camp 2026 concluded successfully at Alhilal Military Station, providing participants with a wide range of outdoor, educational and cultural experiences.

In a post on X, the Northern Command, as per news agency JKNS, said the camp offered a rich blend of adventure activities, nature-themed events, cultural programmes and experiential learning opportunities aimed at the overall development of young participants.

The Army said the initiative was designed to build self-confidence, enhance skills and instill values of discipline, teamwork and leadership among children, preparing them to become responsible citizens and future leaders of a developed India.

According to the Northern Command, the camp provided an engaging platform for participants to learn, interact and grow through various structured activities conducted in a disciplined environment.

The Army reiterated its commitment towards nation-building initiatives and youth development programmes, stating that such camps play an important role in nurturing leadership qualities and promoting holistic growth among the younger generation. (JKNS)
