Srinagar, Jun 19 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing a fresh impetus to job creation, employability enhancement and expansion of social security coverage in the formal sector through the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY).

In a post on X as per news agency JKNS, the Office of the J&K Lieutenant Governor, as per news agency JKNS, quoted Sinha as saying that he was pleased to join the PMVBRY event during which incentives were released to first-time employees and job-creating establishments.

The Lieutenant Governor said the initiative reflects the Centre’s commitment towards generating employment opportunities, strengthening workforce participation and extending social security benefits to a larger section of the population.

He termed the scheme a significant step towards empowering youth and supporting enterprises that contribute to employment generation across the country. (JKNS)
