Srinagar, Jun 18 (JKNS): At least seven workers sustained burn injuries in an accident at a cement factory in the Khonmoh area of Srinagar on Thursday while they were on duty, officials said.
Reports reaching news agency JKNS that the injured workers were immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment following the incident.
Seven workers suffered burn injuries in the accident, while the condition of one of the injured workers is stated to be critical, sources said.
The cause and circumstances surrounding the burn incident were not immediately known. Officials said further details are awaited and the matter is being looked into.
Meanwhile, doctors at SMHS Hospital are providing necessary treatment to the injured workers. (JKNS)
