NIA Attaches of Property in UAPA Case in Baramulla

Srinagar, June 17 (JKNS): An immovable property belonging to an accused in a National Investigation Agency (NIA) case has been attached in Baramulla district following orders of the Special NIA Court, Jammu on Wednesday.

Official sources told news agency JKNS, a land measuring 7.5 marlas under Survey No. 1192, situated at Kanispora village in Baramulla district, has been attached in connection with NIA case RC-01/2020/NIA/JMU.

The property belongs to accused Shaheen Ahmad Lone, son of Late Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Kanispora, Baramulla.

The attachment has been carried out under Section 33(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, in pursuance of an order passed by the Hon’ble NIA Special Court, Jammu, on April 30, 2026.

The notice has been issued for public information regarding the attachment of the said property. (JKNS)
