Man Dies After Vehicle Plunges Into Stream Near Chandoosa, Baramulla

Baramulla, June 7 (JKNS): A man lost his life in a tragic road accident after the vehicle he was travelling plunged into a stream near Chandoosa area of Baramulla district on Sunday.

Reports reaching news agency JKNS stated that, the deceased has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Qazi Hamam, Baramulla.

The accident occurred while he was travelling from Gulmarg towards Baramulla. The vehicle reportedly skidded off the road and fell into a nearby stream near Chandoosa.

Locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby medical facility. However, Ishfaq Ahmad Mir succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
