MLA Irshad Rasool Kar Conducts Extensive Tour of Zaingair Villages, Assures Time-Bound Resolution of Public Issues

Sopore, Jun 6 (JKNS): MLA Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, accompanied by officials from the Irrigation & Flood Control Department, R&B Department and Block Administration, conducted an extensive tour of Hardushiva, Pazalpora, Duroo and Mudji villages in Block Dangerpora of Sopore Constituency to assess developmental requirements and interact with local residents.

During the visit, the MLA held public interactions and listened to various grievances and demands raised by the people. He directed the concerned officers on the spot to take immediate measures for resolving issues requiring urgent attention and assured the public that all genuine demands would be addressed in a time-bound manner.

The delegation accompanying the MLA included Block Development Officer Dangerpora Manzoor Ahmad Dar, AEE Irrigation Department Er. Rameez Ahmad, AEE Zaingair R&B Division Sopore Er. Shahzia Akhter, JE R&B Er. Riyaz Ahmad, besides officials from various line departments.

 

During the tour, Irshad Rasool Kar also interacted with Chairman Eid Gah Aaliya Zaingair, Haji Mohammad Sikander Bhat, and other members of the Eid Gah Aaliya Committee.

 

The committee members highlighted several issues concerning the development of the area and sought necessary intervention for their resolution.

 

Residents of the area raised several important demands, including the upgradation of the Hardushiva-Pazalpora Sports Ground, fencing of Government High School Hardushiva, widening and improvement of the approach road leading to the school, construction and repair of bridges, and execution of other key developmental projects across the Zaingair region.

 

Responding to these demands, the MLA assured the people that all feasible projects would be taken up with the concerned departments on priority and that sustained efforts would be made to ensure balanced and inclusive development throughout the constituency.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Eid Gah Aaliya Zaingair, Haji Mohammad Sikander Bhat, expressed gratitude to MLA Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar for personally visiting the area and taking stock of the developmental needs of the local population.

 

He appreciated the MLA’s commitment towards addressing public concerns and said that the people of Zaingair were encouraged by his assurance to fulfill the genuine demands of the adjoining villages as well as the developmental requirements of Eid Gah Aaliya Zaingair.

 

Haji Sikander Bhat expressed hope that the issues and projects highlighted during the visit would receive due attention and be addressed at the earliest.

 

He said the visit reflects the MLA’s dedication towards strengthening grassroots governance, improving public service delivery and ensuring sustainable development in the rural areas of Sopore Constituency. (JKNS)
