Ramban, May 25 (JKNS): A 19-year-old girl was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Pogal Paristan area of Ramban district on Monday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that information was received in the afternoon regarding the incident involving a girl, a resident of Hoochak area of Tehsil Pogal Paristan.
Soon after receiving the information, a police team from Police Post Ukhral rushed to the spot and initiated necessary legal formalities.
Officials said FSL and DMFU teams were also informed and reached the spot for examination of the scene of occurrence.
Further proceedings under relevant sections of law are underway. (JKNS)
