“Drug Empire Hit Hard”: Srinagar Police Seizes ₹1.50 Crore Property Linked to Narcotics Trade

Srinagar, May 19 (JKNS): In a major action under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Srinagar Police on Tuesday attached a residential property worth approximately ₹1.50 crore belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Parimpora area of Srinagar.

As per news agency JKNS, Police has attached a residential house along with adjoining land measuring 07 marlas worth approximately ₹1.50 crore belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Owais Amin Denthoo S/o Mohd Amin Denthoo R/o Parimpora .

The property has been attached under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 32/2026 U/S 8/22, 29 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Parimpora.

During the course of investigation, it was established that the said property had been acquired through proceeds generated from illicit drug trafficking activities. The attachment has been executed as part of the sustained efforts of Srinagar Police to dismantle the narcotics ecosystem and curb the growing menace of drug abuse in society.

Srinagar Police reiterates its firm commitment towards a Drug-Free Srinagar and appeals to the general public to cooperate with Police by sharing any information related to drug peddling or narcotics trafficking in their areas. (JKNS)
