The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local volunteers. Participants carried placards displaying messages about physical fitness, discipline, drug-free living, and eco-friendly transportation. During the rally, cyclists displayed great enthusiasm and competitive spirit, while people along the route cheered and encouraged them.

Speaking on the occasion, the organizers highlighted the importance of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” and appealed to the youth of the Valley to stay away from drugs and other destructive activities. They stated that the primary objective of the campaign is to make the country drug-free and protect the younger generation from the dangers of substance abuse.

The speakers emphasized that youth are the future of the nation and encouraging them towards positive and constructive activities is the need of the hour. Promoting sports among young people, they added, is an important step towards building a healthy and responsible society.

Cyclists participating in the rally, while interacting with the media, expressed happiness over taking part in the awareness programme. They urged students and youth to actively engage in sports, education, and other constructive activities while staying away from drugs, which destroy human lives and threaten the future of society.

The organizers said that such awareness initiatives play a vital role in guiding young people towards a positive and healthy future while also promoting social responsibility and environmental consciousness.

As a precautionary measure, the BMO Beerwah deployed a medical team along with an ambulance to handle any emergency situation promptly during the event.

The school authorities appreciated the active involvement and enthusiasm of the participants and reiterated their commitment to organizing more educational, sports, and awareness-based programmes in the future.

At the conclusion of the event, Kids Care International School Beerwah distributed certificates of appreciation among participants and volunteers in recognition of their valuable contribution and active participation in the successful conduct of the programme. (JKNS)
