Boniyar, May 18 (JKNS): A man lost his life after reportedly slipping and falling from a height while grazing goats in the Shaldajan forest area of Boniyar in Baramulla district on Monday, officials said.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred when Mushtaq Ahmad Chaudhary, resident of Hundhi Nowshera Boniyar, slipped while tending to his livestock in the forest area.

 

 

 

 

They said local residents immediately rushed to the spot and launched rescue efforts, however the injured person sustained critical injuries.

 

 

 

 

Later, officials confirmed that Mushtaq Ahmad Chaudhary succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save him.

 

 

 

 

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
