BJP Holds Deendayal Training Programme in Poonch to Strengthen Grassroots Cadre

Poonch, May 18 (JKNS): In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening its ideological foundation and grassroots network in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a District-Level Training Class under the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Mahabhiyan-2026” at Post Bangla, Poonch on Monday.

The programme witnessed the participation of J&K BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, Rajya Sabha MP Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, BJP District Incharge Poonch Dinesh Sharma and District President Poonch Sardar Gurdeep Singh Khalsa, along with party workers and leaders from across the district.

 

Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul spoke in detail on the theme “Vichar Parivar,” highlighting the BJP’s nationalist ideology, organisational discipline and commitment to the vision of Antyodaya as envisaged by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

 

He said the BJP remains committed to empowering the last person in society through people-centric governance and dedicated public service.

 

The leaders urged party activists to intensify public outreach, strengthen booth-level structures and ensure that government policies and achievements reach every household.

 

They further stated that such training programmes play a vital role in building a strong, disciplined and ideologically committed cadre capable of serving the nation and society with dedication.

 

The programme concluded with active participation of party workers, reflecting growing organisational strength and enthusiasm of the BJP in the Pir Panjal region. (JKNS)
