The drive was conducted as part of the proactive measures being undertaken by Srinagar Police to eradicate illegal narcotic substances and create awareness among the public regarding the harmful effects of drugs on society, particularly the youth.

Srinagar Police remains committed towards ensuring a drug free society and appeals to the general public to extend cooperation by sharing any information related to narcotics cultivation, drug peddling, or substance abuse with the nearest police establishment. (JKNS)
