Young Social Activists and Columnists from Karnah Join Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 13 (JKNS): A joining programme of prominent young social activists, columnists, and youth representatives from Karnah was organised at the party headquarters in Srinagar in the presence of former Chief Minister and Party President Mehbooba Mufti.

The joining delegation, led by noted social activist M Hafeez Mir, formally joined Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party with the aim of strengthening public outreach and youth participation in the region.

Those who joined the party included M Hafiz Mir, Alyias Mir, Gulam Sarwar Mir, Davood Mir, Khalid Sab, Noveed Akbar, Rafaqat Hussain, Tanveer Hussain, Uzair Qureshi, Toyab Mir, Ansari-ul-Haq, Shakeel Bhati, Omar Idrees, Adil Aziz, Shiab Sultan, Waheed Lateef, Rafaqat Ahmed and others.

Senior party leaders present on the occasion included Mohd Khursheed Alam, Mohammad Afzal Wani, Mir Firdous, Khursheed Ahmad Shah and Dr. Mohammad Abbas.

Speaking on the occasion, the party leadership welcomed the new entrants and appreciated the role of youth and civil society members in strengthening democratic participation and addressing public concerns in border areas like Karnah.

The newly joined members expressed confidence in the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti and reiterated their commitment to work for the welfare, development, and aspirations of the people of Karnah.(JKNS)
