Advocate Ahra Syed Secures Landmark Relief After Personally Arguing Case Before Traffic Court
FacebookTwitterWhatsappTelegram

Advocate Ahra Syed, a practicing lawyer before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, has secured a landmark judgment from the Court of Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic), Kashmir at Srinagar — personally arguing her own case and winning the quashment of five e-challans on 05.05.2026, with the court simultaneously issuing binding directions to the Traffic Police Department.

A Judgment That Goes Beyond One Case
Advocate Ahra Syed’s decision to personally contest these challans — and pursue the matter to its logical conclusion — has resulted in a ruling that benefits every citizen of Jammu & Kashmir who has faced arbitrary e-challan issuance.
