GoI Extends Central Deputation Tenure of Two PMO Directors for One Year

Srinagar, May 2 (JKNS): The Government of India has approved the extension of central deputation tenure of two senior officers serving in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), officials said on Saturday.

As per news agency JKNS, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has cleared the proposal for extension of tenure of Shri Parthiban P., IAS (AGMUT:2011), Director, PMO, for a period of one year beyond 25.06.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Similarly, Shri Amrit Agrahari, IRS (IT:2011), Director in the Prime Minister’s Office, has also been granted an extension of one year beyond 09.07.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

 

The order was issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Office of the Establishment Officer, Government of India, vide an official memorandum dated 02 May 2026, based on approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

 

Further formalities in this regard have been completed, the memorandum said. (JKNS)
