Jammu, Apr 21 (JKNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday called for building an inclusive India envisioned by freedom fighters while unveiling the statue of noted social worker Vijay Bahadur Singh in Ghazipur, urging people to carry forward his ideals of selfless service and nation-building.

Addressing the gathering, as per news agency JKNS, the Lieutenant Governor described Vijay Bahadur Singh as a true “karma-yogi” who served society without seeking recognition and dedicated his life to future generations. He emphasized that such values must reach every section of society to strengthen the foundation of a progressive nation.

Sinha said India is moving decisively towards becoming a developed nation, asserting that the 2047 goal is not just a timeline but a collective national resolve. He added that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, development has reached the grassroots, transforming lives across the country.

Highlighting achievements, the Lieutenant Governor said crores of families now have housing, improved connectivity has reached villages, and the digital revolution has empowered marginalized sections through access to banking, identity, and financial tools. He termed this transformation not merely technological advancement but a significant step towards social empowerment.

He also underlined the growing focus on education, innovation, and youth empowerment, stating that new institutions and policies are shaping a future where young people will lead the nation with responsibility and awareness. (JKNS)
