Kupwara, (JKNS): A certificate distribution ceremony was successfully at the Anhad Community Resources Centre (ACRC), Kumeriyal, Kupwara, recognizing the achievements of students who completed various skill development courses.

The Anhad Community Resources Centre has been playing a significant role in empowering local youth by offering a range of skill-based courses at minimal fees. These initiatives aim to enhance employability and promote self-reliance among students, especially from underserved areas.

During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to more than 40 students who successfully completed courses in Tailoring and Computer Applications. The event marked an important milestone for the participants, reflecting their dedication and commitment towards skill development.

The programme was graced by distinguished dignitaries including the Tehsildar Kupwara, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with the Naib Tehsildar Kupwara, the Principal of Government BHSS Kumeriyal, Anhad Trustee Mr. Tanveer Khan, and Mr. Abdul Rouf, Centre Incharge of ACRC Kumeriyal.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of Anhad Community Resources Centre and stated that such initiatives are crucial for the socio-economic upliftment of the region. He emphasized that providing practical skills to youth opens doors to employment and entrepreneurship, thereby strengthening the local economy.

Other dignitaries also lauded the institution for its continuous efforts in nurturing talent and providing accessible education and training opportunities to the community.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, encouraging students to utilize their newly acquired skills effectively and contribute positively to society.(JKNS)
