New Delhi, Apr 14 (JKNS): Cabinet Secretary Dr T.V. Somanathan on Tuesday addressed the Army Commanders’ Conference, underlining the importance of sovereign Artificial Intelligence, resilient supply chains and a whole-of-nation approach to strengthen India’s preparedness in a rapidly evolving global environment.

During the ongoing conference, he highlighted the need to develop indigenous AI capabilities and ensure robust supply chains to safeguard national interests amid emerging geopolitical challenges.

 

 

 

 

He also stressed the importance of enhanced civil-military cooperation, stating that coordinated efforts across sectors are essential for achieving effective outcomes during both conflict and peacetime.

 

 

 

 

Speaking on Atmanirbharta, the Cabinet Secretary described it not merely as a policy objective but as a national mindset, where every sector, institution and citizen contributes towards building a self-reliant and resilient India.

 

 

 

 

The interaction was part of the Army Commanders’ Conference deliberations aimed at strengthening national security, preparedness and institutional synergy. (JKNS)
