Dr. Touseef Ahmed, Chairman of KASHMIR CONCERN and a renowned socio-environmental activist, announced that all allied organizations will actively support the government’s campaign through a multi-pronged strategy. This includes large-scale awareness drives, professional counselling initiatives, and deep-rooted engagement at the grassroots level—with a special focus on schools and rural communities—in close coordination with civil society and the district administration.

“Early intervention, awareness, and rehabilitation are key. We must act now to safeguard our youth and preserve the social fabric of our society,” Dr. Touseef Ahmed stressed.

Calling for collective responsibility, he added, “This is not the responsibility of one institution alone. It requires a united effort—from parents, teachers, community leaders, and institutions. Real change will only come when action replaces words.”

RED DROP has urged all stakeholders to come forward and translate the campaign’s vision into on-ground reality, ensuring a healthier, drug-free future for Jammu and Kashmir. (JKNS)
