The meeting primarily focused on preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections and strategies to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in Khansahib.

The session was held under the leadership of senior PDP leader Manzoor Ahmed Wani, who addressed the gathering and reviewed the current political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

During his address, Wani strongly criticized the National Conference (NC)-led government, alleging that it has failed to fulfill its election manifesto promises. He stated that commitments such as providing 200 units of free electricity, generating one lakh jobs, and ensuring free gas cylinders for the public have not been delivered.

Highlighting the party’s agenda, Wani said that the PDP has consistently stood as the voice of the poor and marginalized sections of society. He reiterated that the party remains committed to peace, development, and addressing the concerns of common people.

The meeting concluded with party leaders reaffirming their dedication to strengthening the party at the grassroots level and ensuring active participation in the upcoming Panchayat elections to better serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
