Career Counseling Programme Held at Sheikh-ul-Alam Degree College Budgam, Focus on Future Opportunities

Budgam, Apr 11 (JKNS): A comprehensive Career Counseling Programme was successfully organized today at the auditorium hall of Sheikh-ul-Alam Degree College Budgam. The programme was jointly conducted by Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian in collaboration with Sandip Foundation and Sandip University, Nashik.

The event was presided over by the esteemed representative of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safavi. Among the distinguished guests present on the occasion were the Chairman of Sandip Foundation, Dr. Sandeep Jha, and the Principal of Sheikh-ul-Alam Degree College Budgam, along with several other prominent dignitaries from the fields of education and social service.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of college students, reflecting a growing awareness and eagerness among the youth to explore diverse academic and professional pathways.

 

The session aimed at guiding students in making informed career choices and equipping them with valuable insights into emerging educational opportunities.

 

Addressing the gathering, the speakers emphasized the critical importance of quality education in shaping the future of society. They highlighted the need for students in Jammu & Kashmir to access modern, skill-oriented, and professionally relevant courses in order to compete at national and global levels. Special emphasis was laid on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

Representatives from Sandip University provided a detailed overview of the wide range of academic programmes offered by the institution, including courses in technical education, medical sciences, management, and other professional disciplines.

 

Students were also apprised of the institution’s infrastructure, faculty expertise, and career prospects associated with these programmes.

 

 

In his remarks, Aga Syed Mujtaba Abbas Mosavi Al-Safavi underscored the importance of educational awareness initiatives in empowering youth and urged students to take full advantage of such opportunities. He reiterated the commitment of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian towards the promotion of education and intellectual growth in the region.

 

Dr. Sandeep Jha, while addressing the students, highlighted the vision of Sandip Foundation in expanding quality education across regions and expressed keen interest in fostering academic collaboration and outreach initiatives in Jammu & Kashmir.

 

The programme concluded with an interactive session, where students actively engaged with the speakers, seeking guidance on career planning, course selection, and future prospects.

 

Such initiatives mark a significant step towards strengthening educational awareness and creating meaningful pathways for the youth of Kashmir to pursue excellence in their chosen fields. (JKNS)
