Additional Director General (North Zone), Prasar Bharati Reviews Functioning of Akashvani and Doordarshan Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 8 (JKNS): Additional Director General (North Zone), Prasar Bharati, today visited Akashvani Srinagar and Doordarshan Srinagar to review the functioning and infrastructure of both stations.

During the visit, he assessed the working conditions and evaluated the available facilities. He also inaugurated several new facilities at Akashvani Srinagar. The visit was undertaken on the sidelines of the North Zone Engineering Conference of Akashvani and Doordarshan, currently being held in Srinagar.

The visit was accompanied by Shri H.P. Meena, Deputy Director General and Head of Office, Doordarshan Srinagar, Shri Gurbinder Singh, Head of Office, Akashvani Srinagar, along with senior engineering officials.

Addressing the gathering, the Additional Director General expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development and upgradation of facilities. He emphasized that serving and entertaining the public should remain the primary motto of the organization.

He also interacted with the staff members, listened to their concerns, and assured them of appropriate redressal. (JKNS)
