Srinagar, Apr 5 (JKNS): Weatherman, director Meteorological department Ladakh and former director MET Srinagar Sonam Lotus on Sunday said that weather conditions across Kashmir are currently cloudy, with a brief spell of rain or thunderstorm likely at some places from today afternoon onwards.

He also said that hailstorm activity cannot be ruled out in certain areas.

 

According to the details, by Lotus as per news agency JKNS, April 6 is expected to remain mainly dry, while there is a possibility of rain during the night of April 7.

 

The weather is further likely to remain wet on April 8 and 9 with chances of rainfall at several places, he said.

 

In an advisory, he stated that there is around a 50 percent chance of rain today, while April 6 is considered suitable for agricultural spraying. However, April 7 remains moderately risky due to possible evening or night rain.

 

Commuters have been advised to check road conditions before travel and stay updated with weather forecasts to plan accordingly. (JKNS)
