Notably, the batch comprised entirely female participants, highlighting inclusive engagement and the growing interest of women in entrepreneurship across the region.

The MDP–IX, conducted under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme, was designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in key areas such as entrepreneurship development, business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, awareness of government schemes, and critical soft skills required for sustainable enterprise development.

The sessions were delivered through a mix of interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies, and activity-based learning to ensure practical exposure.

On the concluding day, Nafia Nazir, Senior Manager, JKEDI, interacted with the participants, reviewed the training framework, and commended the overall conduct and outcomes of the programme.

She encouraged the trainees to translate their business ideas into viable enterprises and to actively avail themselves of various government schemes aimed at promoting entrepreneurship.

During the interaction session, Sayeem Rafiq also addressed the participants, emphasizing the role of JKEDI in nurturing grassroots entrepreneurship. He assured continued mentoring, guidance, and handholding support to help participants succeed in their entrepreneurial journeys. (JKNS)
