ADDC Shopian reviews progress under JKCIP, HADP

Shopian, Mar 31 (JKNS): A review meeting regarding the district-wise status of applications and unit establishments under JKCIP and HADP was today convened at the Mini Secretariat, Shopian, under the chairmanship of the Additional District Development Commissioner Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone.

During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the progress achieved under various components of the scheme was undertaken.

The chair was informed that a total of 3576 applications have been received in the district under JKCIP out of which 1347 applications have been approved. It was further revealed that 228 units have been established till date.

 

Threadbare discussions were held on scheme performance across different sectors including agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, sericulture, and allied activities.

 

The ADDC emphasized the need to accelerate the pace of implementation to ensure timely benefits to the farming community.

 

He directed all concerned departments to expedite disposal of pending applications, ensure maximum beneficiary coverage, and submit daily progress reports for close monitoring

The meeting was attended by ACD, SDM Zainapora, DSEO, CAO, CHO, AD Fisheries, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, AD Sericulture, LDM J&K Bank, and other concerned officers. (JKNS)
