Jammu, Mar 30 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday distributed financial assistance to youth beneficiaries under Mission YUVA during the Yuva Mahotsav held in Jammu, marking a major push towards youth empowerment and entrepreneurship in the Union Territory.

In a post on X, the Office of the J&K Chief Minister, as per news agency JKNS, said that, “At the Yuva Mahotsav held today in Jammu, the Chief Minister distributed cheques to the beneficiaries under Mission YUVA, marking a significant milestone in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship promotion.”

“The disbursal, conducted as part of a mega outreach initiative, covered 3,003 cases and reflected a cumulative credit achievement of ₹1,000 crore,” he said.

“The financial assistance, provided as seed capital, is aimed at enabling aspiring youth to establish and expand their enterprises, thereby fostering sustainable livelihoods across the region,” post reads. (JKNS)
