Srinagar, Mar 27 (JKNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday criticised the J&K government for what she termed as a delayed and inadequate response to the situation involving Iran.

In a post on X, as per news agency JKNS, Mehbooba said it was “disheartening” that the Chief Minister, being the only Muslim CM of India’s only Muslim-majority region, took nearly a month to unequivocally condemn Israel’s attack on Iran. She also pointed out that the Punjab Assembly had acted swiftly by passing a resolution condemning the attack and expressing solidarity with Iran.
