Police said that a total of 21 high-end foreign-made weapons were recovered, including submachine guns and sophisticated pistols such as PX-5.7, PX-3, Shadow CZ, Beretta, Taurus and Walther.

Notably, the PX-5.7 pistol, which is typically used by special forces, was also among the recovered weapons.

Investigations revealed that the arms were smuggled into India from Pakistan via the Indo-Nepal border and were being supplied to criminal gangs across Delhi-NCR and other states.

Further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
