Search Operation Continues for Second Day to Trace Woman Who Jumped into Jhelum in Uri

Baramulla, Mar 14 (JKNS): A joint search operation by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Baramulla and Civil Defence Unit Uri resumed on Saturday for the second consecutive day to trace the body of a woman who allegedly jumped into the Jhelum River in Uri.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the woman, identified as Reetu Sharma (45), wife of Dharminder and a resident of Lagama Uri, had reportedly jumped into the river from the wooden footbridge at Chandanwari Uri on March 13.
