Kashmir University Postpones March 13 Exams, Campuses to Remain Shut for Jumat-ul-Vida

Kashmir University Postpones All Exams Scheduled for Today

Srinagar, Mar 12 (JKNS): The University of Kashmir on Thursday announced that all examinations scheduled for March 13, 2026 have been postponed in view of the holiday being observed on account of Jumat-ul-Vida.

According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the examinations planned for tomorrow will not be held. The notice added that revised dates for the deferred examinations will be announced separately.

Meanwhile, the Registrar of the University also issued an order stating that all campuses of the University of Kashmir shall remain closed on Friday, March 13, in accordance with Government Order No. 323-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated March 12, 2026 regarding the Jumat-ul-Vida holiday.

However, the order clarified that the University will function normally on Saturday, March 14, and all academic and administrative activities will proceed as per routine schedule. (JKNS)
