The 40-year-old began donating blood at a young age after pledging to dedicate his life to the service of humanity. Since then, he has continued this noble act consistently, inspiring many others to follow the same path.

According to Afaq Rashid, donating blood is a simple yet extremely valuable act. He believes that if every healthy individual donates blood at least once a year, the shortage of blood in hospitals can be greatly reduced. He especially encourages young people to come forward and participate in this humanitarian cause.

Beyond donating blood himself, Afaq Rashid has also been actively involved in organizing blood donation camps with various social organizations. His efforts have motivated dozens of people to become regular blood donors.

Recently, the 85th blood donation camp was organized at Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar, in collaboration with Care Foundation and the IHRO Jammu and Kashmir Chapter, as a tribute to his remarkable service to humanity.

Social circles and community members have widely appreciated Afaq Rashid’s dedication, calling him a true servant of humanity. Many believe that individuals like him are a beacon of hope for society, dedicating their time and energy to saving lives.

Afaq Rashid’s journey stands as an inspiring example for the younger generation, proving that with determination and compassion, even a single person can make a lasting and positive impact on society.
